Why Homeowners Choose Water Appeals
We Design for the Full Sensory Experience

Our Pond & Water Feature Services
Custom Pond Design & Installation
Every great pond starts with a design built around your yard’s layout, sunlight, and how you actually want to use the space. We design and install custom ponds tailored to your property, whether you’re picturing a small reflective pool or a full backyard ecosystem.
Koi & Fish Ponds
A well-designed koi pond does more than hold water — it creates an entire living ecosystem you can enjoy year-round. We design and build custom koi and fish ponds with proper filtration, depth, and habitat design to keep both the water and the fish healthy.
Waterfalls & Cascading Features
There’s a reason a waterfall instantly draws attention in any backyard — the movement and sound create an atmosphere nothing else can replicate. We design and build custom waterfalls that become the natural focal point of your outdoor space.
Pondless Water Features
If you want the sound and beauty of moving water without the maintenance of a full pond, pondless features are the perfect solution. We design and install pondless waterfalls and streams that recirculate water safely beneath the surface, giving you all the benefits with none of the upkeep.
Stream & Creek Bed Installation
A meandering stream can turn a flat, ordinary yard into something that feels like it belongs in a nature preserve. We design and install custom streams and creek beds that wind naturally through your landscape.
Water Gardens
Combining aquatic plants with moving water creates a space that feels genuinely alive and constantly changing through the seasons. We design custom water gardens that integrate plantings, fish, and water movement into one cohesive, thriving feature.
Fountains & Water Sculptures
Sometimes a single, well-placed fountain is all it takes to elevate an entire outdoor space. We design and install custom fountains and water sculptures that add elegance and movement to patios, entryways, and garden areas.
Water Feature Lighting
The right lighting extends your feature’s beauty well into the evening, adding drama and depth after the sun goes down. We install underwater and surrounding lighting systems designed to highlight movement and texture at night.
Water Feature Repair & Maintenance
An existing pond or feature that’s leaking, clogged, or simply not performing the way it used to doesn’t always need to be torn out. We repair pumps, plumbing, liners, and filtration systems to restore your feature’s original beauty and function.
Filtration & Water Quality Systems
A pond or water feature is only as enjoyable as the water inside it, and proper filtration is what keeps it clear and healthy. We install advanced filtration and water treatment systems designed to minimize maintenance while maximizing clarity.
Seasonal Pond Maintenance
Ponds and water features need different care throughout the year to stay healthy and balanced. We provide seasonal maintenance services including cleanouts, algae control, and equipment checks to keep your feature performing consistently.
Commercial Water Features
Businesses, hotels, and public spaces benefit from the same atmosphere-changing power of water. We design and build commercial ponds and water features engineered for durability and low-maintenance operation in high-traffic environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much maintenance does a pond actually require?
It depends on the size and type, but properly designed ponds with good filtration require significantly less upkeep than most people expect.
Will a pond attract unwanted pests like mosquitoes?
Properly designed and maintained water features with good circulation actually discourage mosquitoes rather than attracting them.
Can koi and other fish survive winter in an outdoor pond?
Yes, with proper depth and equipment, koi ponds can be designed to keep fish healthy through winter in most climates.
How long does installation typically take?
It depends on scope, but most residential ponds and water features are completed within a few days to a couple weeks, and we’ll walk you through a realistic timeline before work begins.
Can you add a water feature to an existing landscape design?
Absolutely, many of our projects integrate seamlessly into landscaping that’s already established.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we provide detailed, no-obligation consultations for every pond and water feature project.
